Catania Sampler!

Cris Calimlim of Hawaii was hired to join the ROICC team of contract specialists. Her parents have accompanied her as dependents to Sicily. I've adopted them as my hanai auntie and uncle!

Rob and I volunteered to serve as their 'sponsors,' responsible for introducing them to their new island home.

On day 4 following their arrival, my friends Maya, Kelley and me whisked them off for an afternoon in Catania to experience a little taste of the city's modern and old world charms!



The Catania Market is chaos incarnate with vendors singing and calling out to the crowds to sample and purchase their fresh produce, meats and seafood.
