Sweet Ottobrata 2007

Just as Nicolosi was once known for its sheep lands, Belpasso for its carriage drivers, Zafferana was famous for its honey, its mushroom and apples. Today, these are all the stars of its harvest festival.

This little boy someday will appreciate the beauty and presentation of his father's harvest. But today, he's just ticked that he had to give up his Xbox for apples. I bought fruit from him just out of appreciation for the lovely presentation.

Does honey come out of bees butts? I don't remember that part of science. All I know is that I'd prefer not to associate those nasty, stinging winged bugs with that heavenly stuff we spread on biscuits.
