Just outside of Florence and near all highway junctions, the Granducato was the perfect launching pad for us for our day trips throughout Tuscany. The hotel was an old orphanage converted into a charming hotel.




We spent a day wandering around the walled city of Lucca. Rob got a shave and a parking ticket. Victoria and I enjoyed a little shopping and sightseeing.
