Simply Siena

Our 9-day trip through Tuscany included three-walled cities. Siena was our favorite! We fell so in love with Siena that we said if we ever have children - a daughter - we'd name her after this beautiful city.



Heroin lab? No! It's a candle crafter's shop.



We bought a keepsake candle and had her paint the year on it!



No. No. No. Not more of my nun gawking. This is Saint Catherine's head. She's the patron saint of Italy. Also there, they have her whip that she flogged herself with and her finger on display.

I try not to question or judge...It's Catholic Italian thing.

They put her head in this mini-shrine - box thingie and wouldn't let me take a photos. So this is what we call in Hawaii - a penny pincher's postcard. It's a photo of a postcard.
